  • Darwin V8 Supercars 2019

Staged at the ultra fast and flowing, 2.87km-long Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin since 1998, the CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown is the only race to be held in the Northern Territory on the Supercars calendar. The event is titled the “Triple Crown” as it is the name of the trophy that is awarded to the driver that can achieve the remarkable feat of qualifying fastest in the Top 10 Shootout and winning both races over the weekend. So remarkable is the feat in fact, that in almost 20 years of the event being held that no driver has been able to achieve it! Aside from the fast and frenetic racing that the Hidden Valley Raceway never fails to produce, The Darwin Triple Crown is also renowned for it’s outstanding off-track entertainment.

All eyes will be on Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin as the Supercars roar in & take over the town for an action packed, ground shaking, adrenaline pumping couple of days!

Darwin’s annual arts festival is like no other in Australia.  The Festival, defined by the Top End’s Indigenous cultures and proximity to South-East Asia, is as unique as the city itself.  Festival Park is the heart of the celebration of music, theatre, visual art, dance, cabaret and more.

Bamboo food stalls and pop-up bars transform the centre of the city for a precious few weeks every dry season.  Festival goers can be seen at the long communal tables enjoying Darwin’s legendary multicultural food before heading to one of the many venues in the Park to see the best of Australian and International performances.
