  • Bass in the grass 2021

    Date: 15th May

    People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS 2021 Music Festival is set to be not only the biggest, but the best the Territory’s ever had!

    Established in 2003 BASSINTHEGRASS  is the Northern Territory’s longest running music festival and is held annually at the start of the Top End’s beautiful Dry Season.

  • Darwin Festival

    Date: 5th-22nd August 2021

    Where:  Festival Park and various venues around Darwin

    Darwin’s annual arts festival is like no other in Australia.  The Festival, defined by the Top End’s Indigenous cultures and proximity to South-East Asia, is as unique as the city itself.  Festival Park is the heart of the celebration of music, theatre, visual art, dance, cabaret and more. 

    Bamboo food stalls and pop-up bars transform the centre of the city for a precious few weeks every dry season.  Festival goers can be seen at the long communal tables enjoying Darwin’s legendary multicultural food before heading to one of the many venues in the park.

  • Million Dollar Fish

    Million Dollar Fish is back so it's time to start planning and booking your next fishing trip to the Top End.  

    Tagged barramundi now active across the Top End, the first caught and verified collects the prize!  Remember to register your participation, there's an additional prizes to be won in association with this great angling event.

    Looking for something to do this Saturday morning? Parap Village Shops & Saturday Market houses a diverse gathering of stallholders who set up under shady trees, awnings and umbrellas to provide an impressive range of quality Territory wares and amazing food available at market prices, direct from the creator. Open every Saturday from 8am - 2pm, the markets are located within the Parap Village Shopping Centre - just 5 minutes from the CBD.

  • Mindil Beach Sunset Markets

    Dates:  27th April to end of October 

    Where:  Mindil Beach, Darwin

    The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets are a dry season "must do" when you visit Darwin.  

    View a stunning Top End Sunset from your position on the beach before strolling through the array of market stalls featuring local arts & craft as well as local food to tempt the taste buds.

  • Rapid Creek Markets

    Be a part of Northern Territory tradition and visit Darwin’s oldest market!

    You can explore (and taste) an amazing array of organic and tropical produce and fanastic stalls.

  • Nightcliff Markets
